🟠 Centralnym elementem projektu (M)others on tour jest koncepcja spektaklu „CODOMESTICATION” w touringu, autorstwa Krõõt Juurak i Alexa Baileya — artystów z Estonii i Wielkiej Brytanii, mieszkających w Austrii.
🟠 Przez kilka lat performans był realizowany przez tych dwoje współrodziców i ich kilkuletnie dziecko, które aktywnie uczestniczyło w podejmowaniu decyzji scenicznych i współtworzyło spektakl, będąc wręcz jego liderem. Włączenie tej koncepcji do projektu odpowiada idei „pokazywania bez podróżowania”. Spektakl powstał w 2019 roku, a w 2025, w ramach projektu (M)others on tour, jego partytura została przekazana lokalnym artystom poprzez warsztaty i próby (zarówno online, jak i na żywo).
🟠 Do warszawskiej wersji zaproszono choreografkę Izę Szostak wraz z rodziną — córką Rozalką, synem Ignasiem i mężem Kubą Słomkowskim. Iza i Kuba odbyli niezwykłą podróż — scenicznego podążania za swoimi dziećmi, ich pragnieniami i wyobraźnią, oddawania im decyzji dotyczących przebiegu spektaklu i praktykowania aktywnego patrzenia, widzenia i reagowania na to co powstawaje podczas performansu tu i teraz - na oczach publiczności.

poszukiwanie rozwiązań i najlepszych praktyk.

🟠 The central element of the project (M)others on tour is the concept of the performance CODOMESTICATION on tour by Krõõt Juurak and Alex Bailey — artists from Estonia and the United Kingdom, based in Austria.
🟠 For several years, this performance was realized by these two co-parents together with their young child, who actively participated in making artistic decisions and co-created the show, often becoming its very leader. Including this concept in the project reflects the idea of “showing without traveling.” The performance was originally created in 2019, and in 2025, within the framework of (M)others on tour, its score was handed over to local artists through workshops and rehearsals (both online and in person).
🟠 For the Warsaw version, choreographer Iza Szostak was invited along with her family — daughter Rozalka, son Ignacy, and husband Kuba Słomkowski. Iza and Kuba embarked on an extraordinary journey: following their children on stage, guided by their desires and imagination, giving them agency in shaping the course of the performance, and practicing active looking, seeing, and responding to what emerges in the here and now — in front of the audience’s eyes.

The (M)others on tour project is dedicated to artists with parenting and caregiving responsibilities. Its main goal is to raise awareness about systemic challenges related to parenthood in the performing arts sector, with particular attention to artists’ labor rights, as well as to search for solutions and best practices.
